COLOURS BALL 2014 FEATURING @chichiclothing

Hello once again
This post is about something that happened a little while ago but I wanted to show you all my beautiful chi chi clothing dress! My university held a colours ball which is an awards evening for all the sports teams. The theme this year was great gatsby however everyone prefers to just wear pretty dresses and suits. It took me a while to find what I wanted until I came across the chi chi London website. My eyes were immediately drawn to the Haley dress shown in my pictures. The perfect colour, style and length so I ordered it straight away with a 10% discount code! It was only £49.99 originally so a really good price for what I received. It arrived in this beautiful dusky pink parcel and that had me squealing already! I then opened it to reveal this beautiful aqua coloured dress. I couldn't believe the quality of the fabric and how well it was made too. I instantly tried it on a fell in love with it. I decided it wasn't puffy enough for me so I put a white underskirt underneath to achieve the ball gown effect. I decided to have my hair up for the occasion to show off the gorgeous neckline and went for a shimmery smokey eye to match my bag and shoes and also put on my beloved fake tan. And just like Cinderella I went off to the ball!

Hope you all enjoy reading!

Hello beauties
So I wanted to show you all some pictures of my dad and stepmums wedding on the 31st of May this year. It was a beautiful day and a beautiful ceremony. The ceremony and reception was all held at the Park Inn in Bedford and photos were taken down by the river too. It was a very exciting and long day as we had to be up at 7 to have our hair done! The three bridesmaids and bride all had our hair in updos done by a local hair salon. To be perfectly honest I wasn't pleased with the service we received on the day, the cost of the updo and how they did it - I didn't think it was very professional to have a person doing my hair tell me she'd never done an updo before and kept asking her manager what to do. It was meant to be a special occasion and therefore have the best stylists but hey ho won't be returning there again! Apart from that little morning glitch the day itself was beautiful and everybody enjoyed themselves. Here are a few pictures from the reception:

This is me and my wonderful dad!

My not so little brother!

It really was a beautiful day as I hope you all can see! Thanks for reading.

So it's Saturday night and naturally me and my single friends decide to go out for a few drinks! So I just thought I would show you all my outfit hair and makeup. I wanted to go quite casual (well casual for me) so I chose a pair of jeans and plain back cami and accessorised with gold accents to add a bit of glam. The details of my outfit are:

- Topshop Jamie Jeans in Petite £40
- Miss Selfridge Black Cami £14
- New Look Black and Gold heels £24.99
- New Look Clutch £9.99
- Asos Gold Watch £25
- Next Necklace £10

For my hair and makeup I wanted to look a bit glam and edgy so I obviously went for the smokey eye. I have just a cheap Rimmel palette that I use with the benefit concealer to help it stay in place. I always do my eyes before my foundation so that I can wipe off excess dust that gets onto my cheeks! For my hair I just went for soft curls using my Andrew Barton styling wand. It's been my trusted hair essential for a few years now and it's so quick and easy to do!

Anyway hope you've all had a fab Saturday night too and thankyou for reading.

Hello again,
I've decided it's time to take proper action with this getting fit business so I thought I would try out the slender blend from protein world. I'd had my eye on it for ages ever since I'd seen celebrities like Lauren Pope and ... tweet about it! This product has had very good reviews and seems like something that might work for me. Since being at uni makes me eat more not less I'm wanting to shed a few pounds and tone up at the same time. So many reviews I've read about this product have said that it makes you feel fuller which is what I need as I'm always tempting myself with snacks. I ordered the vanilla flavour because I can try it out with fruits and yoghurt to make smoothies aswell! When it came I was so excited to see the big yellow box! Inside contained:

- SlenderBlend 1kg Vanilla @ £30
- 4g Yellow Scoop
- Protein World Shaker Bottle & £3
- Weight Loss Guide
- Protein Guide

I think it's good that protein world include handy little guides with their products. The guides include how to use the product, food plan reccommendations and fun and healthy recipes! I like the added personal touch of a personal message too! The only thing I would have to say is the shaker bottle should have been wrapped in plastic or something because it had dust all over it from the box. However I'm looking forward to trying it and I will update you all with my progress soon!

Thanks for reading

Hello fellow bloggers...

Hello and welcome to my blog!
I'm a 4ft 11 girly girl studying to be a Fashion Buyer at DeMontfort University. I have just finished my first year and I'm back home working at Next as a Sales Consultant where I had been working previously for nearly two years. I decided to start a blog thanks to the influence and push of a friend and fellow blogger -
I came up with the name pretty little mini because everyone likes to call me mini because I'm under 5ft and I thought it sort of described my girly personality. Anyway I plan to show you what I get up to over the summer and of course give you plenty of my style tricks, tips and whatever else I can offer.

Hope you enjoy reading and follow me using the links down the side,
